BREAKING: Atiku Abubakar Is Dead

Atiku Abubakar Mohammed, the ousted emir of Zurmi in Zamfara state, has died at a private hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The family of the former emir who left Nigeria after he was ousted for allegedly involvement in banditry in his emirate confirmed his death but declined to reveal his cause of death.

Sani Zurmi, a member of the family of the late Atiku Abubakar, said that the deceased’s body had not yet been returned to Nigeria as of Sunday, August 28, 2022.

He stated that the family at home are aware of the development.

“He died of a heart condition,” a source claimed on Monday.

Recall that Mohammad was dethroned along with Husaini Umar, the emir of Dansadau, by Governor Bello Matawalle after a report by a commission of inquiry accused the monarchs of aiding terrorists in their emirate in Zamfara state.

He is survived by family members.
