Buhari Travels to London For Medical Complications and Check Up[Details]
The Nigeria President; Muhammadu Buhari has departed Abuja for his routine medical trip to London, United Kingdom.
The president departed Abuja early hours of today.
Recall, Last month Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, had said Buhari would visit his doctor in London for “routine medical checks that will last for a maximum of two weeks”.
Buhari was supposed to proceed to London from Kenya — where he participated at the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Environmental Programme — but touched down in Abuja impromptly.
The president’s return took many by surprise, given the earlier spelt-out details of his itinerary.
In spite of his unexpected return to the country, TheCable had reported that the medical trip was not cancelled.
