Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme Extols Udi Council Boss; Hon Nzeh Philip Okoh For Swiping into Action to Fight Bandits in The LG[VIDEOS]
Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme has hailed the newly elected chairman of Udi local government area for taking a bold step towards the security of lives and properties of his people barely few days into office.
He made this submission during a media chat with Charity Reporters when he applauded Hon Nze Philip Okoh for swiping into action to save some communities in Udi from deadly attacks of bandits and kidnappers.
Creativity is a tool for good and quality governance.
Barely few days in office, the Udi LG Chairman went into action to identify the hide outs and pathways bandits toll to cause unrest and to kidnap their unsuspecting victims. With a lead from Ebe- Ukana, the creative Mayor employed the use of tractors to clear the bushes and trees that constitute hideouts and easy escape routes for bandits within the areas.
He personally supervised these projects thereby taking the lead among his colleagues towards project execution and security of lives and properties.
