Eke Ward Gets New PDP Chairman

Hon. Augustine Agu who called for peace appealed to the people of Eke to imbibe peace and unity while chosing and dealing with it’s leaders
The Eke Ward of Udi Local Government Area has gotten a new party chairman of The Peoples Democratic Party.
During it’s special stakeholders meeting held at Donbidd Hotel Enugu, the entire members of Eke Ward elected Everest Chidubem to spare the affairs of the party in the next months, before the elections will be held.
The Party chairman of Udi Local Government Area, Hon. Augustine Agu who called for peace appealed to the people of Eke to imbibe peace and unity while chosing and dealing with it’s leaders.
Following the above introduction, majority of the stakeholders of Eke declared their support for Mr. Everest Chidube who hails from Ogui-Agu.
Speaking after his emergence, and while accepting his emergence, The Chairman, Hon. Everest expressed satisfaction towards the process which has brought him forth to continue with the tenure of the embattled Chairman, Mr. EGG, he also expressed optimism, he pledged to continue to be loyal to the party, and to ensure unity and oneness in PDP Eke Ward, he as well appealed for unwavering support from Eke Ward and promised to reciprocate same, in any way possible.

Until his emergence as Chairman, Mr. Everest was Vice Chairman of the party in Eke Ward for seven and half years. He was nominated due to hard work, resilience and commitment to the Party activities.
Recall that, the Udi Local Government PDP party executives had suspended the former Chairman of Eke Ward, simply known as EGG, among other executive members, due to reasons hinged on anti-party activities.
Some notable stakeholders of Eke who attended the meeting include, Ozor Uche Alor, SSA on constituency matters to Senator Osita Ngwu, Prof. Oluka, Dr. Luke Mgboh, Hon. Philip Chieha, Hon. Johnson Anekwe, Hon. Ngozi Ugwu, Eke Ward Councillor, Hon. Michael Cole Oguama(fine brother), leader stakeholders Eke Ward, Hon. John Ifudu, Hon. Ikwueze, Hon. Ever Chidobe, Engr. Cornelius Ozochikelu, Mr. Amobi Udeh, Hon. Ogechukwu Eze(Ophilo), Comr. Chidi Aguba, Hon. Udoka Nzekwe, Mr. Charles Ugwu, Mrs. Uzoamaka Offor, Mr. Ifeanyi Agu, Mrs. Chigbo, Hon.
