Femi Fani-Kayode Has Vowed That PDP Chairman Dr Iyorchia Ayu Must Be Arrested For Alleged Misappropriation Of Party Funds

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has demanded arrest of national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Iyorchia Ayu and members of the party’s national working committee (NWC).

Fani-Kayode reacted to alleged misappropriation of PDP’s funds by Ayu and some NWC members who reportedly received monies amounting to N1bn for house rents in a series of posts on his Facebook and Twitter accounts.

He wondered why the security operatives had not picked up Ayu and others indicted in misappropriation of PDP’s funds.

“Some NWC members of PDP returned questionable funds which were sent to them by AYU.

“All this and AYU has not been invited and questioned?

“Why have the security agencies not rounded him and all the other members of the PDP NWC up and questioned them about his bogus and perfidious election as National Chairman, the misappropriation and diversion of the one billion naira and the bribe money that was paid into the bank accounts of the PDP NWC members?

“Are Ayu and the leaders of the opposition above the law?”
