Collins Uchenna Aharanwa, popularly called Mr. Ahams is the fastest growing Nollywood director who obtained his certificate and inducted into the guild of notable Directors, the Directors Guild of Nigerian, DGN.
Mr. Ahams hails from Umunahu-Uratta in Owerri North LGA of IMO State, he was born in the city of Enugu, Enugu State Nigeria, by Late Mr & Mrs Jonathan Chukwuemeka Aharanwa.
Academic Background
Mr Ahams went to Trans Ekulu River Primary School, Trans Ekulu, Enugu, Government Technical College (GTC) Enugu, Special Science School Ukehe in Igbo-Etiti LGA of Enugu where he obtained his O’Level certificate and then went to Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUTech) Enugu, where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering as a Chemical Engineer.

Mr. Ahams is married to his lovely wife Mrs. Uzoamaka Jemima, who has been very supportive to his career both morally and spiritually.

He likes honesty, writing, traveling, meeting new friends, watching football (a Chelsea Football Club fan) and a God fearing dude.
The Journey So Far
He started his movie career as an actor officially in July 2003 in Awka Chapter of AGN, under the Chairmanship of Barr. Ikechukwu Ezenagu and later transferred his membership to Enugu Chapter, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Stan K. Amandi.
He has since then featured in several movies such as: Beyond Believe, Back From America, Top Secret, The Escape, American Husband, Men At War, Laviva, Dons In Abuja, Please Come Back (Issakaba 5), Never End, Ikenta Onye Ojoo, Ajo Nwanne, Onwunwa, Mysterious House, Ogadimma, Ghetto Gospel, Another Man’s Child, The Madman I Love, Magic Number, Angry Grave, Tears In Love, Hard Crush, Ikemba, Bob risky In Love, The Street Girl I Love, Envy, Drunk In Jealousy, Jubilee Of Mercy, Nkem, Our Jesus Story etc.

He has produced a number of good movies, such as: Desperate Men, Angry Grave, Onuma, Enemies in White, My Lost Daughter, etc.
As a team player, Mr. Ahams has assisted several DGN directors as an Assistant Director (AD), to achieve some quality movies like: Ada Ezeagu, Depression, Ikemba, My Family Bank, The Street Girl I Love, Our Jesus Story, Sexy Village Dancers, Aunty Concord, Sergeant Bombshell etc.
