How Mohbad Met Wife at Naira Marley Record – Dad

Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, has disclosed how the singer met his wife, Wunmi, at Naira Marley’s Marlian Records.

In an interview with Charityreporters, Aloba said that Mohbad met Wunmi in 2019 when she came to Marlian Records to visit her cousin, who was a member of the label’s staff.

“Mohbad was attracted to her at first sight,” Aloba said. “He told me that he had never seen a girl as beautiful as her before.”

Aloba said that Mohbad approached Wunmi and asked her out on a date. They started dating soon after, and they got married in 2022.

“I was very happy when Mohbad told me that he was going to marry Wunmi,” Aloba said. “She is a very good girl, and she comes from a good family.”

Aloba said that Mohbad and Wunmi were very happy together. They were planning to have children before Mohbad’s untimely death.

“Mohbad loved Wunmi very much,” Aloba said. “He was always talking about her to me. He said that she was his best friend and his soulmate.”

Aloba said that Wunmi is still grieving the loss of her husband. He urged her to be strong and to continue living her life.

“Mohbad would want Wunmi to be happy,” Aloba said. “He would want her to continue her dreams.”
