MAF Awards Winners of Draughts Competition in its Usual Way of Supporting the Executive Governor of Enugu state Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in the Area of Games and Unity.
MAF Draughts Competition Winners Emerges
Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme has awarded the winners of MAF Draughts Competition.
The award was presented today by the National Coordinator Hon Mike CJ Madu(Gburuchi) at the Head Office of the foundation.
The occasion had a hall full of witnesses who came to witness the laudable presentation.
The awardees includes;
Winner: Izuchukwu Akueme whose Facebook name is Valentine Jega 50,000 cash with trophy
1st Runner Up: Ekwunta James who bears James King on Facebook 30,000 cash
2nd Runner Up: Jenifer C. Ogbuiyi whose Facebook name is Jenifer David 10,000 cash
Recall that the Maurice Akueme Foundation had introduced the MAF Annual Draughts Competition which called interested persons to register for free.
According to the Founder/President; the competition is meant for all ages a and genders and aimed at bringing people together in the spirit of sportsmanship to foster peaceful coexistence hence being the basic drive for sports, games and competitions.
The National Coordinator while addressing pressmen after the event; he noted that the event is a memorable one which has come to stay.
“The game will continue, it is indeed a remarkable and memorable one which will continue” he said.

Mrs Ngozi Odenigbo; the Grass root Coordinator who monitored the competition expressed satisfaction.
In her remark, she praised Akueme for thinking out of the box to make people happy by introducing the game as part of MAF programs.
