MAF Visits Joy Village as Time Table is Set For Christmas
The Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF) on tuesday took a visit to Joy Villages, Ebe in Udi local government area, Enugu state.

It was indeed joyful meeting the kids who were happy and as well entertained the MAF family.
The Resident Priest Rev. Fr. Ogada who narrated the touching stories and ordeals of the kids said that some of those kids who are seen as bad eggs in the society are actually not bad.
He said that circumstances could change one’s behaviours, he also said the society can equally influence one’s behaviours.
He advised parent and guardians to take care in bringing up their kids/wards and not to allow them experience emotional trauma, social crisis especially in the family as whatever they experience will forever remain in their hearts and shall continue to influence them.
Looking at the kids, they looked happy and even portrayed joy, the priest however lamented that their challenges have been lack of support from organizations, individuals and government.

He however commended the Maurice Akueme Foundation for always being there for the poor, the downtrodden and the less privileged and for always remembering to visit the joy village especially in difficult times like this.
MAF palliated them with food stuffs and cash and as well supported the community with lots of Christmas gifts.
The Deputy Speaker Enugu State House of Assembly Hon. Uche Callistus Ugwu also made some cash donation to support the visit.
The National Coordinator Hon Mike CJ Madu(Gburuchi) who led the movement in reaction thanked the priest for words of advise, encouragement and the kids for the entertainment.
He encouraged them never to give up in the struggle for better life.
Gburuchi vowed that the foundation will always keep up with its focal points and will continue to visit the community to ensure that the kids continues to live in joy just as the name implies.
In conclusion he appreciated Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme, his wife Lolo Olivia Akueme who made the visit entirely possible.
He also extended appreciation to The Deputy Speaker; Enugu state House of Assembly Hon Uche Callistus Ugwu for supporting the visit.
MAF is the first to visit Joy Villages since the beginning of this new season just like last year when MAF was the only organization that visited.
Below is The Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF) Christmas Activities Time Table.
Wednesday 16th – Visit to the joy village Ebe. ETA; 3pm.
Thursday 17th – Hospital outreach to Udi Gen. Hospital. ETA 11am.
Friday 18th – Chapter coordinators’ year end meeting. Venue, Purity lodge. ETA; 11am.
Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th. MAF Santa Claus Train. The MAF Santa Claus Train will be passing through Udi LGA. The children will have the opportunity to meet Santa and get plenty of goodies.
Monday 21st – Condolence visit to Ezeagu. ETA; 12noon.
Tuesday 22nd. Distribution of Christmas Hampers to selected VIPs. Time; from 12 noon.
Wednesday 23rd – MAF end of year party also known as A day with MAF 2:0. Time; 1pm till mama calls at Umuozolu, Ukana.
Meanwhile Distribution of Christmas palliatives is ongoing at the MAF Food Bank as MAF Visits Joy Village as part of time table Set For Christmas.
