The Maurice Akueme Foundation last saturday surprised the entire people of Enugu State by visiting some communities in the state that felt forgotten.

This unstoppable act of giving of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme is hinged on this quote by Mother Theresa “At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.
We will be judged by “I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in.”

It was another joyful outing seeing smiles on the faces of members of some forgotten communities, the people of the communities shoved for an interview.

In their separate opinions they pointed out that such a visit to their communities have never occurred until their 50s and 60s.

The communities of Obinofia ndi uno and Obinofia ndi agu were visited with not just palliatives but with empowerment/support for up to 10 petty traders.

The Maurice Akueme Foundation supported Traders with at least 200,000 Naira cash, each of the 10 getting 20,000 Naira.

Chief Akueme had also gathered all the old men and women in Obinofia ndi agu and palliated them with food stuffs and cleaning materials.

One of the beneficiaries of the petty traders support Rev. B M O Oguamana who was laicized was shocked over the financial support, he expressed joy, he prayed for Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme through the book of Joshua 1:1-9, he declared continuous raining season in the lives of all the members of the foundation.

Mr. Okongwu who’s Shop was Destroyed by the heavy downpour now sales outside

Charity Reporters gathered that Oguamana was laicized after he had an issue with his wife and she set him up which led to him being secularized so he resorted to taking sachet water on credit to sale and balance up.

According to him; his wife left him with their children.

After receiving the unexpected support, he said “at least I won’t beg for credit again”.

Ozochi Chinenye, Echezona Okongwu, Chidiebere Okafor, Ebere Ozoezi in Okposi part of Obinofia ndi agu and others also benefitted from the Maurice Akueme Foundation Petty Traders Support.

At least up to 1000 men, women, children, youths and traditional rulers were palliated on saturday as directed by Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme.

They sang songs of praises and hammered blessings on Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme.

Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme has also called on well meaning individuals, NGOs and Charity Organizations to join him in this transformational agenda in support of the Government.
