Olabisi Onabanjo University [OOU] Announces Resumption Date
After the suspension of the eight months’ strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Nigerian universities have begun announcing dates of resumption for staff and students.
The universities have remained closed since the academic staff embarked on an industrial action to demand better pay and funding for the system on 14 February.
The union suspended the strike on Friday, in obedience to the order of the industrial court, it said.
The Olabisi Onabanjo University will be resuming activities on October 17, 2022.
Students are hereby advised to return to campus immediately as lectures and exam dates will be announced soonest.
