Opinion: I’m Terribly Disappointed The Eastern Youths Are Slacking Behind And It’s Disheartening

In some parts of The east like Owerri gunshot sounds have become something we’re comfortable with and our ears have adjusted to this sound and our youths are not woke?

In Enugu there’s an indefinite curfew, there’s also a rule that prohibits Motorcycle (Okada) riding in this same state, our weekend has been extended to Monday and our youths are still not woke

There’s more…

Our so called leaders of tomorrow are no longer active academically as a result of ASUU strike(the so called strike that was put in place on groundless bases) yet our youths are still not woke

JAMBITES are left with no other option but to wait or change institute to a State University which costs a fortune yet our youths are still not woke

It has come to my knowledge that the Monday Sit at home observations was instigated by IPOB in respect to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu but would MNK be happy when he finds out about the pain and inconveniences that the sit at home observation has brought upon families and youths

Our economy has gotten to the edge of the knife and everything has become awkwardly expensive

Fathers are struggling while some are dying
Mothers are struggling while some are dying
Children are starving and dying
Female youths are prostituting and committing blasphemous atrocities
Male youths are now Keke riders, yahoo boys, ritualists and so on
Soldiers are dying
Politicians are looting money and sending their children overseas

So many wasted lives and I start to wonder “when did it all go wrong”

Nobody to heed “that certain call”

It’s only the choices we make that can save us!
