Petrol Station Attendants Arrested for Alleged N7.92 Million Fraud in Ekiti State

In a startling turn of events, the police in Ekiti State have apprehended three female petrol station attendants on charges of defrauding the station owner to the staggering sum of N7.92 million. The illicit activity unfolded at a filling station located in Ilawe Ekiti, situated in the Ekiti Southwest Local Government Area.

The suspects have been identified as Olaiya Oluwaseyi, Omotosho Seun, and Ajayi Funke, all of whom were employed as pump attendants at the same filling station implicated in the fraudulent act.

Commissioner Dare Ogundare, overseeing the Ekiti State Police Command, disclosed, “Investigation revealed that the suspects were pump attendants in the same filling station where the fraudulent act occurred.”

Speaking in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, Ogundare further added, “During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the alleged crime and mentioned that the money was shared among them and used to solve personal issues.”
