Police Arrests Professor Over Assault On Female Orderly

A professor has been arrested in Abuja for allegedly ordering the assault of her female police orderly.

The professor identified as Zainab Duke Abiola, of Area II, reportedly ordered her domestic staff comprising the housemaid, one Rebecca Enechido, and a male suspect currently at large, to beat up the policewoman.

A Twitter user, @DejiAdesogan shared a photo of the policewoman with a bloodied face on Wednesday.

Reacting to the development, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Baba, yesterday directed an express prosecution of the arrested suspects who are currently in police custody.

Recall that Charity Reporters had reported that the Professor through her household, beat up the female police officer for refusing to carry out house chores.
