Leadership is the creation of an environment in which others are able to self-actualize in the process of completing the job.
I always believe that ultimately, if people are paying attention, then we get good government and good leadership. And when we get lazy, as a democracy and civically start taking shortcuts, then it results in bad government and politics.
The goal in the end is not to win elections. The goal is to change society.
If you want your people to think, don’t give instructions, give intent.
If truly the goal is to change society, as it is the vision of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme (JP) when he first started reaching out to the grassroots during the COVID-19 pandemic period.
The main aim of this gesture was to the change society.
Modern formulations are necessary even in defense of very ancient truths. Not because of any alleged anachronism in the old ideas – the Beatitudes remain the essential statements of the Western code – but because the idiom of life is always changing.
Experience has shown, and a true philosophy will always show, that a vast, perhaps the larger, portion of truth arises from the seemingly irrelevant gesture of reaching out to society.

I am painfully aware that many citizens of all walks of life who are sincere patriots are becoming concerned about the length of time it is taking to crush the rebellion in our country. We have one and only one aim in prosecuting this war: it is to ensure that coming generations will live in a happier and more stable country. Let us accept our present difficulties as the price we have been called upon to pay in order to ensure a peaceful and prosperous future for our children.

Those of us placed in a position of leadership must be prepared to grasp the nettle if we unite in doing so, and if, in addition, we set a worthy example and a marathon on pace in probity, unselfishness, and self-sacrifice, the people will follow, all too readily, in our footsteps.
MAF indeed becomes politically relevant because it will therefore become a tool the state government through the incoming Governor Dr Peter Mbah to accelerate grassroots mobilization outreach, since the MAF structural design of grassroots already has covered the horizon and thus becomes familiar with the nooks and crannies.
Permit to reiterate that if effectively used, the MAF -Peter Mbah Grassroot reach out will become a historical philanthropic journey, one of its kind in the country.
