Recent Empowerment Encouragement of Youths Part of MAF’s Resolve to Compliment and Support the Efforts of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi‘s Efforts Towards Human Capital Development
MAF Empowers Youths as New Year Gift.
The Maurice Akueme Foundation through the National Coordinator Hon Mike CJ Madu(Gburuchi) had invited two youths to the foundation’s head office for empowerment.
Gburuchi in MAF’s usual impromptu manner of invitation had invited Chris Pehn and Opoke Afamefuna following the directives of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme to empower the duo.
Speaking during the unplanned ceremony, Madu encouraged them, he said MAF has its way of seeing everything that is happening and will continue to act accordingly by rewarding and encouraging hard work either by means of scholarship for students, palliatives and Empowerment.

“We are in a new year and still experiencing the hardship ushered in by the ravaging pandemic Covid 19 and EndSars protest.
“However, the Maurice Akueme Foundation have found you both worthy to be empowered and because it is not in Akueme’s nature to relent in giving alms, we have decided to empower you both with 50,000 each”
Handing the cash to them, the both expressed their joy and satisfaction with Maurice Akueme stating that it is indeed a new year and a better one for them as no one has performed such miracle for them in recent time.
They promised to make judicious use of the funds and as well impact positively on others as MAF encourages the “give as you receive” lifestyle.
Chris Pehn is a radio presenter with Family Love 99.9 FM Enugu while Opoke Afamefuna is an upcoming artist from Ebonyi State.

Maurice Akueme who was reached via an online chat encouraged Opoke who is an upcoming artist to seize the opportunity to do better songs with this career empowerment and to develop his talent more as MAF will provide every necessary assistance.
He reiterated MAF’s unwavering support to the Executive Governor of Enugu State on human capital development.
Maurice Akueme Foundation has empowered over 50 youths and upcoming artists and promises not to relent.
MAF has also offered scholarship to not less than 100 students in various institutions.
