The Maurice Akueme Foundation Visits Schools In Awgu To Redeem Scholarship Awards

Wednesday 6th, the Maurice Akueme Foundation approved funds for the payment of fees for beneficiaries of it’s scholarship scheme.

The Director of Operations, Comr. Joe Udefi under the directives of the president/founder visited Nenwenta Central School at Nenwenta, Awgu Local Government Area to pay the school fees of children enrolled in the foundation’s scholarship scheme.

Akueme’s continuos goodwill is coming few weeks after the primary election where he contested for the position of the senate to represent Enugu West Senatorial Zone.

During a meeting with his team in Enugu, he reassured them that his NGO is his driving tool to give back to the society what God has given him, it is part of him to give and therefore will not stop.

Charity Reporters had reported that the Maurice Akueme Foundation recently built a 2 bedroom 5 star bungalow for a widow at Nenwenta.

The foundation also employed the widow and as well placed four of her children on the MAF Scholarship.

Recently, the organization visited the St. Paul College Eke with it’s unit of the Girls Empowerment Club Initiative led by Amaka Ozougwu with the aim of sensitizing teenage girls on personal hygiene, leadership skill, cleanliness, among other features.
