The National Council of Enugu State Students Pays Senator Ike Ekweremadu Condolence Visit Over the Demise of Rt. Hon. Mathias Ekweremadu
The apex student body that sees to the welfare of all indigene students of Enugu state worldwide NACESS had quality time with the former Nigeria Deputy Senate President.
While discussing, the National President Comr. Onah Joseph Onyemaechi appreciated the warm reception from Senator Ekweremadu’s household.
He praised Ike for all his efforts in National and state leadership and also asked him to take heart over his brother’s demise for God gives and he takes.
Senator Mike Odenigbo; the council’s Senate president thanked Senator Ekweremadu for his bursary and scholarship schemes which has benefitted every local government area in Enugu state and prayed that the senator never gives up
Odenigbo in his own remark appealed to the most revered and distinguished senator to consider NACESS as his own children.

In his own remark, the National WelfareDirector Comrade Chris Ikechukwu Enemoh appealed to Senator Ekweremadu that in as much as the team has come for condolences, they should also be catered for.
He also asked for the full support of Senator Ike Ekweremadu to the council reiterating that the council caters for the interest of ûmû akwûkwô Enugu State.
Senator Ike Ekweremadu addressed the students in the most humble manner and assured them of his support henceforth.
He said he is seeing the council as his own family and children, he pledged to throw his full weight of support to the council and advised the student group to always remember the reasons they are in school.
In the visit were National Executive Council Members, Members of the Senate, Members of the Judicial Council, members of the Association’s Traditional Council and other members of the Association.
