A Chartered Accountant by profession, lectured at Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State. Worked with Union Bank and GTBank as operations manager. Currently, the Managing Director of The Mexol Group – an Accountancy, Audit, Tax and Management Consulting firm in the United Kingdom, he fully understands the principles of accounting, budgets and budgetary controls.
He is Charitable…..
His Charitable organisation – The Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF) is the most persistent and consistent in south of the Niger. Even the blind, deaf and dumb can atest to this. The Foundation’s programmes are too numerous to mention. This man is so full of compassion and would go the extra mile to ensure poverty is eradicated completely.
He is a True Leader….
Owns and runs his own highly successful practice in the United Kingdom employing dozens of people (including Nigerians), runs multiple businesses including overseas properties, restaurants. The Maurice Akueme Foundation employs over 300 people in the continent – full time, part time and volunteers. The man simply has a fantastic template to manage all these.
He has international experience….
Living in the developed world for years and also working closely with governments, he completely understands the template for running a society that will work for everyone.

With clients all over the world, he is able to attract foreign investors to Enugu West, thereby creating industries and employment for our teeming youths. He has already created employment for a handful of youths through outsourcing of some of his UK company’s functions. He’s currently working with other UK companies with a view to outsource job functions as well.

Chief Akueme has worked in the banking industry as a vault custodian, cash officer, teller captain and branch operations manager. He has handled cash running into hundreds of millions of Naira. Currently, he manages international clients accounts running into millions of Pounds Sterling.
