Enugu Government Suspends Issuance Of Allocation Of Plot(s) Of Land To Members Of The Public
The government of Enugu State led by Gov. Peter Mbah has placed on hold the issuance of allocation of plots of lands by related government offices.
A public service notice made through the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia states thus;
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
SUSPENSION OF THE ISSUANCE OF ALLOCATION OF COMPENSATORY PLOT(S) OF LAND(S) IN ENUGU STATE
The Enugu State government hereby suspends the allocation of compensatory plot(s) of land(s) to members of the public by the following offices:
1. Ministry of Lands and Urban Development
2. Enugu Ministry of Housing
3. Enugu State Housing Development Corporation.
Take note that effective today, June 26, 2023, any negotiations for acquisition of land MUST be by the Governor’s approval. Non-compliance by defaulters shall be dealt with in accordance with the law.
Please be guided accordingly.
