The Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF) recently built a two bedroom apartment for a widow in Awgu local government of Enugu state, this gesture got many people shocked in disbelief, many people traveled to the village to make sure that the news was true.
The Maurice Akueme foundation saved a lady who nearly committed suicide because she was owing money she could not be able to pay, when MAF got wind of it, not only was the debt fully repaid, the lady was empowered to start up her own business.
The Maurice Akueme Foundation is giving out bursary to undergraduates in the University.
Sometimes its not the strength but gentleness that cracks the hardest shells.
Sometimes, you will go through awful trials in your life and then a miracle happens–God heals you. Don’t be disheartened when the people you love don’t see things like you do. There will be Pharisees in your life that will laugh it off, deny that it happened, or will mock your experience based on righteousness they think you don’t possess. God won’t deny you a spiritual experience because you are not a spiritual leader. He loves everyone equal. The only people that really matter in life are the people that can “see” your heart and rejoice with you.

The simple gift of giving becomes an elaborate rich aftertaste of a natural blissful feeling, lingering endlessly in a lifetime.
Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone’s hand is the beginning of a journey and it’s worthy of note that the MAF family believes that the journey of charity is an endless one, they are always ready to impact positively in situations that calls there attention.
How you make others feel says alot about who you are, there is no better exercise for your heart than reaching down and helping to lift someone up.
We have to realize only in communication, in real knowledge, in real reaching out, can there be an understanding that there’s humanity everywhere, and that’s what MAF is trying to do.
