Why We Must Celebrate Chie Maurice Emeka Akueme, Support Him For Senate

By Chris Ike Enemoh

I celebrate Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme

Call it politics, election or whatever, for even thinking of helping the poorest of the poor in the society, the widows, the youths, for thinking of alleviating poverty and ameliorating hardship is worthy of emulation, he deserves much accolade.

It shows how talented, innovative and consistent he is in his business of humanity through his foundation; the most consistent so far.

The Maurice Akueme Foundation has touched lives beyond party lines right from the UK, Uganda, then to Nigeria via Lagos, Calabar, etc before coming home; Enugu.

If politics was the case, he should have vied for presidency in Uganda or a high profiled position in the UK from 2013/2014 going forward.

Akueme is indeed a man of goodwill though as they say; a prophet is not regarded in his home, but in the case of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme he must be regarded, that seemingly status quo must turn around.

If the UK, Uganda, Calabar, Lagos, Enugu, Ezeagu, Udi, Awgu, Aninri, Oji River, Nsukka, Igboetiti, Igboeze South, Igboeze North, Uzo Uwani, Udenu, Isi Uzo, Enugu North, Enugu South, Isi Uzo, Nkanu East and Nkanu West, etc has benefitted from a single man’s benevolence then be rest assured that the entire good people of Enugu West shall gain more if they throw reasoning into play rather than emotions and sentiments.

Akueme is accessible, simple, straight forward, jovial but yet focused on the ball, disciplined and principled.

He also finds pleasure in supporting the state and the local governments.

He will do best in the Senate.
