Breaking: Njikokamma Movement for Gburugburu Organises Colorful Inaugural meeting.

The Njikokamma Movement for Gburugburu had its colorful inaugural meeting yesterday being 11th December, 2020 at Ritz-Carinton Suits.

A program which saw the presence of a lot of dignitaries and political gladiators of Enugu State, youth, students and leaders from other pressure groups.

The chairman of the event; The Deputy Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly Hon. Engr. Uche Ugwu while making his opening remark Commended the executive governor of Enugu state His Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for enabling a conducive and peaceful atmosphere in the state.

He hailed the convener and Director General; Njikokamma Movement for Gburugburu Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme and Hon Mike CJ Madu(Gburuchi) respectively for initiating such perceived apex group in total support for the developmental and leadership strides of the Executive governor of Enugu state.

While inaugurating NMG Mr. Deputy Speaker pledged his unalloyed support and prayed that NMG will beat all other pressure groups to come top.

He said NMG shall take over and it will become the most sought support group in Enugu state.

Engr Uche Ugwu blessed NMG in the name of Jesus and declared it inaugurated.

Hon Mike CJ Madu on behalf of NMG presented a paint portrait award to the Executive Governor of Enugu State Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

While presenting the award; Gburuchi made it known that NMG is not a political party nor a charity organization but a political organization deliberately initiated and founded to compliment, appreciate and encourage the developmental and leadership strides of Hon Ugwuanyi.

He introduced a new slogan for NMG thus;

NMG: Njikokamma Movement for Gburugburu;
Njikokamma Movement for Gburugburu: Total Support for Gburugburu;
Total Support for Gburugburu: Gburus all the way!

Some political gladiators who endorsed NMG includes; Chief Osita Ngwu RG, Barr George Obiora, MD Udi General Hospital, Hon Richmond; former deputy chairman of Udi local government, Ensec commissioner, a government official from Bayelsa, Prince Obi Ubaka, Hon. Gisto Mma….

Numerous other groups witnessed the occasion but to mention few includes; the Maurice Akueme Foundation, Enugu West Widows Association, Hausa community of 9th mile, National Council of Enugu State students(NACESS) led by Comr Onah Joseph Onyemaechi, National Association of Udi Students(NAUS) led by Comr Onuigbo Christian, Enugu Progressive Forum was represented, Ochiagha Support Group was also represented.

Meanwhile in attendance was over 800 indigenes and non indigenes of Enugu State.
