Peter Obi In A Secret Meeting With Wike
Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, today June 22, had a closed door meeting with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
Though the essence of such meeting has not been disclosed, it was however gathered that the meeting held in Port Harcourt lasted for several hours.
Earlier today, the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar constituted a committee to pacify and woo the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and some other aggrieved members of the party.
It has also been alleged that the PDP has been rocked by crisis following the choice of the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, as Atiku’s running mate.
The mistake that some political parties in their narrow mindedness make is to still believe that Peter Obi has no structure, therefore they are trying to lure him over to their own parties.
The reality is that Peter Obi is not even in control of his own campaign for the 2023 presidential election anymore. While other political parties and their aspirants fund people to campaign for them, Nigerian youths and sincere concerned citizens all over the country and in Diaspora have buried their religious, ethnic and political differences and are coming together with their own limited resources to fund Obi’s presidential aspiration and they have taken over the wheels of Peter Obi’s Campaign such that Peter can no longer, even say “NO”.
