Senator Kalu Loses Wife In USA
The Senate Chief Whip Orji Uzor Kalu has announce the death of his wife, Ifeoma Orji Uzor Kalu
Announcing her death on his verified Facebook page, Kalu announced his wife died at 61.
While the cause of her death could not be immediately ascertained, she was said to have died in the United States of America.
The former Abia Governor described his late wife as a woman of virtues who was committed to the service of God and humanity.
“TRANSITION TO ETERNAL GLORY
With a heavy heart and pain, we announce the passing on to eternal glory of Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61 years.
She was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity.
A memorial service in her honour is scheduled to hold in the United States of America (USA).
Please remember her and loved ones in prayers at this difficult period.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen”.
Orji Uzor Kalu is a Nigerian Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, He also serves as the Chief Whip of the Senate. He served as Governor of Abia State from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007.
He is among the Senators aspiring to become the President of the Senate of the 10th Assembly.
