Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme Is True Humanitarian Who Has Impacted somany lives.

Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity, it is an act of justice. Like Slavery and Apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings. Sometimes it falls on a generation to be great. YOU can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom.

The fact is that ours is the first generation that can look disease and extreme poverty in the eye, look across the ocean to Africa, and say this, and mean it. We do not have to stand for this. A whole continent written off – we do not have to stand for this.

Because someone has refused to stand for it and decided that in every little penny he earns he will share it.

That’s why Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme is getting so much awards in the area of human Capital Development.

And I look around searching for another soul like this and it becomes difficult to find.

The power of human empathy, leading to collective action, saves lives, and frees prisoners. Ordinary people, whose personal well-being and security are assured, join together in huge numbers to save people they do not know, and will never meet….Unlike any other creature on this planet, humans can learn and understand, without having experienced. They can think themselves into other people’s places….We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better.

Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme has imagined and believed that this current situation will definitely change and with faith, he kept reaching out to the less previleged, providing a helping hand whenever necessary.

Because of his philanthropic exploits today we have people living who were once suicidal, we have graduates who could have dropped out of high school, widows are given a hope to live, orphans have a place where they can run to in time of distress, businessmen and women are empowered to expand their business, upcoming talents are given a platform to rise and shine, and list goes on and on.

Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others?

If you can’t feed a hundred people, feed just one.

This little gestures of love means much more than anything else.

Kudos to Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme for reaching out to the people at their most vulnerable times and giving hope to the hopeless, a homemaker to the widowed lot.

Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.

The destiny of world civilization depends upon providing a decent standard of living for all mankind.

And Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme is committed to providing a decent future to the people.

He is a true example of letting love lead.

Humanitarian missions are little different from any other public enterprise, diplomacy included, which is susceptible of misinterpretation by the public, hence ultimately of failure.

But Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme even misunderstood is not enough reason to give up, so he is going on even more harder.

Because to him philanthropy is a calling which must be fulfilled.

For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.
