Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme Sets to Take the Maurice Akueme Foundation to Nsukka
The founder and president of the Maurice Akueme Foundation in the person of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme in his usual support to the Government has announced his decision to take the charity organization to other parts of Enugu state.
He made this announcement through his Vice President on media Comrade Chris Ike Enemoh.
Speaking with Charity Reporters; Akueme made it known that the foundation since its inception in Nigeria has been of benefit to members of Enugu West which consists of Udi, Ezeagu, Oji River, Awgu, Aninri Local Government Areas and individuals from other zones.
He furthered that his decision to take his goodwill to other local government areas was propelled by the constant call, appeal from people of the zone, advice by prominent members of the areas and his love for the Executive Governor of Enugu State Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
He also made it known that his efforts are self sponsored and as such will only be extended to Enugu North for now and to Enugu East subsequently and when asked “when” he intends to further extend; “sooner than expected” he replied.
“Today, the Maurice Akueme Foundation has announced the founder’s decision to inaugurate the Nsukka Zone of MAF which consists of; Nsukka, Udenu, Igboeze South, Igboeze North, Igboetiti and Uzo Uwani Local Government Areas.
“It has also announced the official opening of Nsukka Contact Office on the same date Saturday 16th October, 2021.
“The Orba Road office of the Area will be dedicated and commissioned on same date by 10:00am at No. 8 Orba Road, from there the team will proceed to the venue for inauguration at Adada Hall GRA, Nsukka Local Government Area, Enugu State by 12:00 noon”.
Recall that 7th July, 2021 The Maurice Akueme Foundation through its social media handles announced opportunities in the organization which included Directors of Operation for all the Local Government Areas in Enugu East and Enugu North, Coordinators and other members of the executive.
