The Maurice Akueme Foundation launches a program that will see many Nigerian Youths especially those of Enugu State off the streets.
Recall that on the 11th day of September, 2020, Opera News Hub had published that The Maurice Akueme Foundation is on the verge to get artists featured in MAF artist of the week program.
This thought has however not remained mere thoughts nor dreams but has come to reality when Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme through his MAF National Coordinator Honorable Mike CJ Madu announce the date which the program will be launched.
Honorable Mike CJ Madu however recently took to his social media handles to announced that the MAF Artist of the week shall be launched on Friday 18th September, 2020.
He calls on all upcoming artists who are either of Enugu State origin or residence to enroll for free.
The MAF artist of the week program according to the mind set of the initiator and sponsor Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme the Njikokamma of Enugu State— is a weekly radio program on Family Love FM.
“It will feature upcoming artists of Enugu State. Every week an upcoming artist will be invited to the studio and interviewed on air, his or her music will be played throughout the period, such that if you have a song or any upcoming song(s), it will be an opportunity to promote it on Family Love FM”.
Family Love FM radio is the second most popular radio station according to NBC rating.
Recall that The Maurice Akueme Foundation also conducted MAF one minute video competition, recall also that two artists(King Zy and Sage) who won in the competition has been on the fore front of MAF musical project, a project which has been deliberately scheduled in a bid to take over 3000 Enugu Youths off the streets.
It is worthy of note that while going back to the competition records and competitors with the aim of giving more artists the chance to perform — the MAF Chief Executive spotted another music made by one Mr Ugwu Obinna (HairyJoe).
With this discovery and wonderful song, which attracted the heart of a philanthropist, Sir Maurice Akueme has directed that Ugwu be brought for an interview and review of his passion, subsequent updates will be released on this as Obinna as well could be on his way to stardom.
The Maurice Emeka Akueme Foundation Artist of the week program will be launched today being Friday 18th September, 2020 at Family Love FM radio house. Time of kick off is 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
