President Buhari greets Tinubu, Nigerians on Independence Day

President Muhammadu Buhari has greeted the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and all Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 63rd Independence Day anniversary.

In a nationwide broadcast on Saturday, Buhari said that Nigeria had made significant progress since independence, despite challenges.

He said that the country had become the largest economy in Africa and had made progress in the areas of infrastructure, education, and healthcare.

Buhari also said that the country had made progress in the fight against insecurity, with the military recording successes against Boko Haram and other terrorist groups.

He urged Nigerians to continue to support the government in its efforts to build a better future for the country.

In his own message, Tinubu congratulated Nigerians on the country’s independence anniversary and said that he was committed to building a better future for all Nigerians.

He said that he would focus on improving the economy, creating jobs, and fighting insecurity if elected president.

Tinubu also urged Nigerians to unite and work together to build a better future for the country.

The 63rd Independence Day anniversary was celebrated across Nigeria on Saturday, with parades, cultural displays, and other activities.

The celebrations came amid economic challenges and security concerns in the country.

However, many Nigerians expressed hope that the country would overcome its challenges and build a brighter future.
