Messi Reportedly Wins His 7th Ballon d’Or
Portuguese outlet RTP claim that their sources have told them Leo Messi has won the 2021 Ballon d’Or, the seventh one of his career. For the record, RTP are the biggest media outlet in Portugal.
The Argentine has reportedly been informed about it by French Football, the outlet that hand out the award. Messi has even done the traditional interview with them.

In 2021, Messi won the 2021 Copa America with Argentine, the first major international trophy of his career. He also won the Copa del Rey with Barcelona and finished as the top scorer in La Liga.
No player has won the Ballon d’Or more than five times.
