NACESS NEWS: National Council of Enugu State Students Pays Final Homage to Member.
The NEC of the National Council of Enugu State Students led by Comrade Onah Joseph Onyemaechi have expressed shock over the death of a dedicated member of the council.
Today, the Council paid her last respect to Comrade Chisom Maryann Igwe who was laid to rest amidst tears.
Various chapters across the country were duly represented by either the president nor delegate(s) led by Comrade Onah Joseph Onymaechi.
Onah encouraged the deceased mother and family members on behalf of the council.
He made them to understand that God who gives life takes it at will and no one questions him.
He however consoled the family after which he handed 15,000 to the family on behalf of the council.
While addressing them, he emphasised that it is the constitutional tradition of the council to honor such a call and to support the family as part of the right of the deceased.
Chisom’s mother in reaction thanked the league of comrades who came from different parts of the country, abandoning their busy schedules to be with her family at this difficult moment.
She prayed for the members of NACESS and wished them safe trip back to their various destinations.
Comrade Chisom Igwe was a member of the National Council of Enugu State Students, she was the NACESS chapter vice president of Federal Polytechnic Nekedi.
Comrade Chisom is from the family of Eneokopie of Umudim Amokwe in Udi Local Government Area.
Chisom is married to the son of late Mr Chibuoke Igwe of Enugu ndi Agu uno Etitiozalla in Nkanu West Local Government Area all of Enugu State.
She died on 9th September, 2020 at the age of 26 and buried at her husband’s home.
