Organs Harvesting: UK Court Adjourns Ekweremadus Alleged Kidney Case, Donor 21 Not 15 As Claimed[Details]
A Westminster Magistrates Court in the United Kingdom, on Wednesday, ruled that David Nwamini Ukpo, the alleged kidney donor for the daughter of Senator Ike Ekweremadu, is not 15 years old.
Arise TV reports that Ukpo has admitted to the court that he is 21 years old and had been in the UK since February but only presented himself to the police in May.
Ike Ekweremadu and wife pleaded not guilty to the charges facing them, while Nigeria delegates who visited the court applied that the case has been in a Nigerian court were denied bail.
The hearing has been adjourned to August 4th while Ike Ekweremadu and wife denied bail.
Recall that Charity Reporters had reported that Ike Ekweremadu and wife, Nwanneka Ekweremadu were arraigned before Uxbridge Court in UK over alleged case of Kindney harvesting of Ukpo David.
