President Ahmed Tinubu Meets With Nigerian Governors’ Forum Over Fuel Subsidy, National Assembly Matters.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is holding his first meeting with Governors of the 36 States of the Federation which is known as the Nigeria Governors’Forum, NGF at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting started by 12:36pm on Wednesday.
The reason for the meeting have not been revealed yet, information have it that the between Tinubu and the governors would be centered on the fuel subsidy impasse and the leadership tussle in the 10th National Assembly.
Some of those present at the meeting include Gvernors of Zamfara, Kano, Taraba, Kogi, Ogun, Nasarawa, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Lagos, Rivers, Osun, Jigawa, Benue, Taraba, Delta, Enugu, Rivers, Oyo, Plateau, Kebbi, Abia, Imo, Bauchi
The Deputy Governors of Edo and Niger are representing their States.
Those that were not on ground before the commencement of the meeting are Governors of Katsina, Kaduna, Gombe, Borno, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Ekiti, Ondo and Sokoto,
Vice President Kashim Shettima; Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, are present at the meeting
