The Maurice Akueme Foundation Girls Empowerment Club Initiative Empowers Teenagers at St Paul College Eke.

Reopening his philanthropy gesture after the primary elections, a former Senatorial Aspirant for Enugu West Senatorial Zone and the founder of the Maurice Akueme Foundation; Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme Friday took another mind blowing project to the ancient kingdom of Eke.

The Maurice Akueme Foundation Vice President on Girls Club; Mrs Amaka Ozougwu on Friday led her team of eloquent tutors to St Paul College Eke to enlighten the teenage students of the college on courage, boldness, hygiene, cleanliness, self discipline, respect among others.

Some officers of the foundation who were there to support the girls program includes; the Senior Vice President Admin; Johnpaul Akueme, the Senior Vice President Media; Chris Ike Enemoh, Mr. Chinaza Madu among others.

Dignitaries who witnessed the program includes the Councillor of Eke Ward; Hon. Mrs Ngozi Ugwu, The Principal of St Paul College Eke; The Vice Principal; Rev. Fr. among other teachers.

Speaking during an interview with Charity Reporters, the Principal commended the efforts of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme, he encouraged him not to relent for that which he has started will even be remembered by the beneficiaries, he also took a video which he promised to send to the old boys forum.

Speaking further, in a solar interview, Hon Ngozi Ugwu also commended Chief Akueme, she said it’s so amazing to see the man continued in his Charity works, she promised to always support in whichever way she can.

The Deputy Senior Prefect made the closing remark on behalf of the school, she appreciated the Maurice Akueme Foundation for finding her school worthy of such a rare empowerment and also thanked the founder; Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme for giving a nod for her school. She said Akueme’s kind is rare in the society.

Numerous gifts was shared to the participants with light refreshment.

The Maurice Akueme Foundation empowers the girl child, it has empowered at least 7000 girls since the inception of the girls empowerment Club Initiative, a subsidiary of his foundation which guarantees empowering girls and churning out confident future woman leaders through Girls Empowerment programs, 1-2-1 Empowerment Support, Community Outreach, Parent Engagement, Training and Advocacy Services, Leadership.
