International Efforts Underway to Evacuate Citizens from Israel Amid Escalating Tensions
In the wake of the recent attacks by Hamas, several nations including the United States, the United Kingdom, India, and France have launched coordinated efforts to evacuate their citizens from Israel. India, in particular, has organized a charter flight set to land in Tel Aviv to retrieve approximately 230 Indian citizens. The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Arindam Bagchi, confirmed this development during a press briefing on Thursday. The flight is anticipated to return to India on Friday morning.
Nepal, too, has taken decisive action to evacuate its nationals from the conflict zone. The country’s foreign ministry has successfully repatriated 253 Nepali students who were in Israel. A flight carrying these students departed from Tel Aviv on Thursday, as confirmed on social media.

Tragically, amidst the conflict, ten Nepali agriculture students lost their lives in an attack on a kibbutz in southern Israel. Nepal’s Ambassador to Israel, Kanta Rizal, revealed this grim news. Additionally, three students sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical care, while one student remains unaccounted for.
