Popular NGO Empowers Widows in its Continuous Support to the Executive Governor of Enugu State Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Human Capital Development
Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme has empowered the widows of Enugu West extraction with cash gift of 100,000 as widows welfare/empowerment package.
The Maurice Akueme Foundation(MAF) through it’s National Coordinator Hon Mike CJ Madu(Gburuchi) received a delegation of widows of Enugu West extraction who paid the founder a new year courtesy visit.
Hon Madu while receiving the widows on behalf of Chief Akueme assured them of unwavering support understanding how it feels to live without their husbands.
He also assured them that their grand patron Chief Akueme who’s mother is also a widow feels same vacuum and therefore will not abandon them with same pains.
Hon Nkiru Ojih from Okpatu; leader of the association who spoke on behalf of the widows rained blessings on both the foundation and it founder.
The Maurice Akueme Foundation also takes care of widows, the needy, the poorest of the poor, the downtrodden, less privileged, the weak and the old in compliment to efforts put up by the government of Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi; the executive governor of Enugu State on the welfare and human capital development of the people of Enugu State.
