Senator Chukwu made this known, Tuesday, during a physical meeting with all his appointees in Enugu.
According to him, politicking are over, it is time for the people of the zone to feel the impact of quality and accountable representation, to justify the confidence reposed on him as their Senator.
He described the meeting as the first in a series of meetings that would be holding from time to time and urged the appointees to key into his agenda of “Putting the people first” in order to build a united and prosperous Enugu East Senatorial Zone.
The Senator enjoined the appointees to see their appointments as opportunity to render selfless service to God and to humanity.
Senator Chukwu, while appreciating his constituents for the show of love and confidence reposed on him during the electioneering period, urged the appointees to put on their thinking caps, promising to be open to people oriented ideas and opinions that will tip him towards better representation of the zone.

“We have not been called to a competition; we have been called to a collaboration, and to make this collaboration possible, we must bond together, we must marry our hearts together, and we must pursue the same objective.” he noted.
The Senator expressed determination to inspire and make the people of Enugu East proud of their heritage through effective and accountable leadership and representation in the 10th Assembly of Nigeria.
Speaking on behalf of the appointees, the Special Adviser on Public Affairs, Professor Denchris Onah, appreciated the senator for the appointments, he described it as the first of its kind in the history of Enugu East Senatorial zone. He noted that he had at several times declined offers of appointment as commissioner but choose to play this advisory role because of the Senator’s sincerity of purpose and commitment to effective and accountable representation.
The scholar enjoined other appointees be of reputable characters, as such will represent the personality of the Senator on the long run.
