Gbajabiamila did not provide any details about the amount of the wage increase. However, he said that it will be “significant.”

The announcement of the provisional wage increase has been welcomed by labor unions and workers. The unions have said that the wage increase is a step in the right direction, but that it is not enough. They have called for the government to implement a permanent wage increase that will reflect the rising cost of living.

The provisional wage increase is a good development for workers in Nigeria. It will help to improve their living standards and boost the economy. However, the government needs to do more to address the issue of low wages in Nigeria. A permanent wage increase that reflects the rising cost of living is needed.
