EFCC Denies Alleged Invasion of Singer Skales’ Residence

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has categorically refuted claims of a home invasion involving singer John Njeng-Ngeng, popularly known as Skales.

On Tuesday morning, Skales took to social media to allege that EFCC officials had forcibly entered his residence with weapons, including guns and hammers. The singer further claimed that his back door was broken during the incident, and expressed concern for the safety of his six-month-old daughter, citing a panic attack due to his existing health issues.

However, the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, responded in an exclusive statement to Charityreporters Online, dismissing Skales’ assertions as baseless. Oyewale emphasized that the anti-graft agency does not conduct operations in the manner described by the singer.

The conflicting accounts regarding this incident highlight the need for a thorough investigation to ascertain the facts surrounding the alleged intrusion. The EFCC’s denial prompts questions about the authenticity of the claims made by Skales, shedding light on the importance of accurate and verified information in such matters.

As the situation develops, it remains imperative for both parties involved to provide transparent and verifiable evidence to support their respective accounts. The truth of the matter will ultimately be determined through a thorough and impartial examination of the evidence at hand.
