In what turned out to be a solidarity match for Governor Alia but peaceful protest, the youths of Vandeikya Local Government Area have demanded that Tarkighir Audu be restrained from parading himself as the revenue chairman of the area.
During the event that took place early hours of Saturday, Vandeikya youths staged a peaceful rally in support of Govenor Hyacinth Iormem Alia and pleaded the Governor and other appropriate authorities to restrain Tarkighir Audu from imposing himself as the Revenue Chairman in Vandeikya Local Government.
Recall that last week the Caretaker Chairman Hon Dennis Guda received his Handover from the DGSA without the inauguration of supervisors and the Secretary.
It is very worrisome and disturbing that Tarkighir Audu who is currently Coordinating the Produce check point at Branch Atser in Vandeikya has come again with his ‘Cameleonic’ lifestyle to takeover the office of the Caretaker Secretary claiming the Local Government Caretaker Chairman gave him the mandate to coordinate the activities of Revenue in the entire Vandeikya Local Government.

The Taskforce Youth and his team that were served a letter to seize Operations staged a protest from the Vandeikya Local Government Secretariat, registering their grievances and also called on the traditional Head, Ter Kunav to intervene in the issue at hand and caution Tarkighir Audu to leave issues of Revenue to the appropriate authorities.
Tarkighir who claimed he was sent by the Caretaker Chairman and his other Principals to coordinate Revenue without the knowledge of the Caretaker Committee and relevant stakeholders organized a strong group to attack the youth who staged a Peaceful Protest to instill right.
The youth has called on the Governor, His Excellency Very Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia and other relevant/appropriate authorities to restrain Tarkighir Audu from imposing/parading himself as the revenue coordinator until the right person for the job desolves the already existing market committees.
