If It Makes You Feel Beautiful; Then Do It Your Way; A Study of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme

So many questions popping up on why Maurice Akueme is giving or helping the poorest of the poor in the society, some asked why it must be put on cameras and media while many supporters and lovers of Akueme have answered them on the essence of giving and sometimes spelling it out.

Some persons ask their questions on political grounds and foundation, some persons who feel they’re benefitting from the government or one politician or the other who feels intimidated with the unceasing manner of giving of Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme also wonder why it must be brought to the public domain.

Oh yes ! Even Jesus Christ while giving made it public, Jesus Christ never gave nor helped people in the secret, there are some verses where he had to ask the needy to invite members of their family to witness goodwill. The act of giving and not using cameras nor showing the world is outdated. It is also worthy of note that the helping style of Akueme has given hope to do many homes, it has also encouraged many to start helping the poor, Akueme has successfully broken that jinx of fear of the unknown if one has to help the poor in the society.

Many people in the society want to be noticed while others don’t, so most times they put it on the media whenever they feel like doing something commendable maybe for one reason or the other; record keeping is commendable, it encourages others who are wealthy but not willing to give out to start.

You may not get the idea behind the kind gesture clearly but, the truth remains that it is a kind gesture and if he or she chooses not to do it, the critics wouldn’t be able to do it themselves even if they had the attention of CNN.

So my brothers and sisters if it makes you feel better while being kind to people who are in need of that kindness, put it on the media and even on international TV while you do it, as long as someone somewhere is a beneficiary of such kind gesture, if you do not, the day you eventually talk about it or someone eventually does, it’ll be audio.

You may or may not know that person, but whether he or she is a politician or not, your message to that person should be “Thank You And God Bless You”, you should be impressed.

The problem most of us have is; even access to that media and camera because if you have access you will even get people’s goodwill and claim the glory. We have also been beclouded by politics that we see everything as politics, what a shallow mindset !!!

If you feel it was not done in the right way, do yours and show us an example of the way it should be done.

1 Timothy 6:17-19

“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life”.
