Njikokamma Family Pays Solidarity Visit To PDP Senatorial Candidate For Enugu West, Engr. Osita Ngwu RG

Earlier on Tuesday, the Njikokamma family paid a solidarity visit to the PDP Candidate for Enugu West Senatorial Zone, Engr Osita Ngwu

It was pertinent to have such a mutual meeting at this electioneering season.

Highlights of the meeting was solidarity and encouragement to the winner of 24th May, 2022 primary election held in Awgu Local government area headquarters where Engr. Osita Ngwu emerged the flag bearer of the party.

Usually, in every contest, a winner must emerge and courtesy demands that all other contestants realign to form a formidable force to beat other parties and return victorious.

It is on this ground that the founder/president of Njikokamma Movement found it worthy to match words with action.

Prior to the primary election, the aspirants from Udi extraction had signed a Peace Accord which mandated all other aspirants to support whoever that emerged

The Njikokamma team Tuesday visited Engr. Osita Ngwu under the directives and approval of the founder, Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme.

After an introduction, The DG, Njikokamma Movement, Comr. Emmanuel Onwuegbu who spoke on behalf of the group reassured Engr. Ngwu of Akueme’s unwavering support towards the course, he said the group is representing it’s founder to show solidarity.

“We are here today in solidarity, to represent The Team Maurice Emeka Akueme, Njikokamma, he has assured that a victory for you is a victory for ndi Udi, Enugu West, Enugu State and the whole of Nigeria.

“We have come to congratulate you again, and to remind you that we are with you.

“We come with goodwill as our boss Chief Maurice Akueme has reassured that he will continue to support you in anyway he can.

Others who spoke in solidarity includes; Hon Bernard Okafor, Okworka Olisaeloka, Johnpaul Akueme, Chukwu Anthony, Mrs Amaka Ozougwu.

Speaking further, the Media Chief to Maurice Emeka Akueme Campaign Organization assured Engr Osita Ngwu of Akueme’s continuos readiness to support his campaign.

“I recount in memory the day we had the Njikokamma Movement For Gburugburu inaugurated at Ritz Carinton Hotel, Enugu, you were there in as much as you may have gotten information that your brother Maurice may be contesting for the Senate, you showed solidarity, you were there in person.

“The day you emerged the PDP flag bearer, Maurice was the first among the contestants to congratulate you, it shows his large heart, it also proves that both of you have maintained a very robust relationship”.

Engr Osita Ngwu, in response, welcomed the organization, he described Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme as a fine gentleman with large heart.

He expressed his respect for Chief Akueme who he also described as his elder brother stating that they were the youngest in the contest.

“I want to thank the Njikokamma family and in particular Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme, my elder brother. We were the youngest during the contest and with his large heart and philanthropic gesture, we will go far together.

“He is a fine gentleman, and convey back my message to him that we will partner, tell him that he has a formidable group and I’m glad to partner with Njikokamma.

“This partnership is one that will break grounds. I appreciate that gentleman and I know he will go far with the kind of heart he has, I have contested before and in every election, a winner must emerge. In this election, we will win together and I assure you that Njikokamma has a place in my heart.

“The Renaissance Group and Njikokamma will partner and this partnership will be an enviable one”, he said.

The Njikokamma family presented him with a branded T.shirt of the organization.

Recall that on 15th April, 2022, the local government chairman of Udi, Hon Philip Okoh invited all senatorial aspirants from the area to See Angelo Hotel, Enugu, he reassured them of his commitment to ensure that an Ufi man emerge as the Senatorial flag bearer of the zone as no Udi man, in history has ever served in the capacity. Hon. Okoh United all the aspirants to sign a Peace Accord. Maurice Emeka Akueme was however the first to adopt the Accord and signed accordingly.
